Repairs

At the Shed we aim to support people as far as we can in repairing items. Though we are not experts in everything, between us all, within a growing membership we are often able to gather skills towards a positive outcome!

While we sometimes repair items for people, we generally aim to share skills so that individuals have the experience of making the repairs themselves.

 

Textiles and clothes

You are welcome to drop in to our sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10-12 where we have a sewing machine and a growing range of materials needed for repair. Members there will be able to help you if needed.

 

Furniture/wooden items

On a Monday and Thursday people will be around to assist you to repair those items needing woodworking skills.

If you have electrical items please do get in touch with us and we can see if we can help with your query.

Open Saturdays

​

On the first Saturday of each month the Shed is open between 10-12. If you can't get to the weekly Shed sessions, then please do get in touch about your repair request. We will then aim to match you with a Shedder who could meet during one of these weekend sessions to support you with your project.
